The History of FRN
Food Recovery Network is the largest student-led movement fighting food waste and working to end hunger in America. The Food Recovery Network was established in 2011 to reduce food waste and hunger on college campuses.
Food And Nutrition Programs
FRN prides itself on their nationwide network of 4,000 students, alumni, food businesses, hunger-fighting partners, donors, and community supporters that ensure successful program years of ensuring people have access to healthy, nutritious food and helping to mitigate the climate crisis through grassroots food recovery efforts.
Food Recovery Verified
Through their Food Recovery Verified program, FRN provides technical assistance and support to food businesses that seek to limit waste and feed people through food recovery. They partner with companies across the U.S. to recover at conferences and events, as well as provide third-party verification for food businesses that are donating their surplus food to hunger-fighting partners.
